The sites in the lower campground are very large, well shaded, and level. Many of them are right on the river. The grounds are very well maintained. This campground is on the expensive side at $43 a weekend night. They do a few train rides for the little kids, and have a nice playground, but there were no organized activities. They have a new office/recreation building which has games of all kinds and big screen TVs. There is a volleyball court and soccer field. Mini-golf is available for $2.50. The bathrooms were not cleaned all evening while the floors were muddy. The only showers are a long walk up a steep hill, quite far from most of the sites. There are railroad tracks nearby, so you can hear the train whistle blowing numerous times throughout the day and night. Despite the opportunities for improvement, the view from the waterfront sites is so beautiful that it's easy to overlook these minor flaws. This was our 4th stay here in four years.

This campground offers large, grassy, level sites with good shade. The grounds are well maintained. They have a large recreation building and a nice playground. There is a river for fishing in, but it was not clean enough to swim in. The owners are wonderfully friendly and the price is very reasonable. The only drawback was the constant hum of traffic from the nearby (but not visible) highway.

This is a very nice campground. It is spread out well, and most of the sites have shade except for the odd numbered sites 59-77 along the road. Those sites only have early morning shade, and a few of them are too small for lawn games. The biggest problem we encountered here is that they close both restroom buildings from 9:00am - 11:00am for cleaning. We couldn't figure out why they would close both buildings at the same time, and why during peak showering time? This did cause us some stress since we do not have a toilet in our pop-up camper. This appears to be the only time the restrooms are cleaned because most of the time, the womens restroom had hair and puddles all over the sinks and countertops and the floors were muddy. Other than that, we enjoyed the peace and quiet, the animals in the petting zoo, and the convenience of being close to stores. The staff was also friendly.

This is a beautiful, well maintained campground. The owners have put a great deal of effort into planting trees (which are now large) and landscaping the grounds. The restrooms are kept meticulously clean throughout the day. The owners are very involved and friendly, as is all the staff. We spent a lot of time at the pool and on the jumping pillow, which was a lot of fun, even for adults. The kids enjoyed the wagon ride, crafts, and flashlight candy hunt. We would definitely stay here again.

This campground is well maintained. The sites are grassy and there are a lot of trees. There are some sites that share a gravel pad, so the two campers would be parked right next to each other. There are also plenty of larger, more private sites. The restrooms and showers are cleaned frequently. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Though you can't see the highway or train tracks, there is slight highway noise, and the train whistle goes off frequently throughout the day and night. There are no walking trails, and no planned activities. We may stay again for a relaxing adult weekend, but probably not with the kids.
